Nope! My dad has been looking for a car, and he likes Firebirds! He really wants a v8!

haha! I have actually been looking at that one for a while now. I wonder what engine it has.

I think my dad might like the look of the newer ones best though.

..I emailed him!

ha, I got it out Thursday night
This morning I got it in, I just have to attach the torque arm, exhaust, and driveshaft.

then I have to just plug the cable into the throttle body, screw the cap back on, and pour the fluid in!

oh.... what is that electrical cable at the rear of the transmission?? I got it out of a 91 camaro, but they did not cut the wires off and my connector is different!

Doh! I always thought his blue car was an '86, but his MySpace says '87. I also bothered to read what he wrote this time, and he says his VSS connector is different.

A lot of the GM weatherpacks changed in '90. Just put your old pickup into the new trans. Or if you already turned it in for core: go to the junkyard, cut one off a newer car, and splice it onto your cable. One is ground, one is signal. Not hard to figure out.

So thanks for reading my whole post..

Haha, I just read a whole thread on TGO about what this plug was for! They all thought it was the reverse lights till the last post!

I didn't look hard enough to see I could just swap it out before I had to go to work. I"ll see what it looks like in the morning!

I also have to change the gears on it to make my speedo correct?
