I had wanted to replace the interior and exterior window trim, sweeps and the corner guides for some time, and managed to find all new GM parts.
What a HUGE difference that made in regards to noise and the famous 3rd Gen Window Thud...Gone, no rattles, and no leaks!
After chatting with Al I had my friend with GM take the lead on this one, and I was happy to buy the beer!
For sure chat with Al on tips, and Al you are so right…the windows need to come out to do the trim and comer guides correctly, but the end result is well worth it!

The reflection of the car next to me gives it a strange look on the trim!

Thumbs up

Driving Al's Camaro this weekend I was very impressed with the fit and finish, as well as the new seats.

I just did the same to my bird. New window sweeps and a bunch of sound deadener inside the door itself. Oh man it's so much nicer!

I agree it makes such a huge difference on the inside, it was instant!
A great overall fix for sure! I was amazed at the seal and noise that no longer haunted the interior!
Oh man if you want to get the inside scoop on the trims yack with Al,
I was impressed with how well his came out, and the seats are well done!

Now I need to find seat belts, Black and New! Shocked

I got mine from GM Parts Direct

Right 10124264 $37.20
Left 10124265 $37.50

Found under
Door - Glass & Hardware - Belt w/Strip - Outer (right/left)

Part numbers are the same for Firebird, however it says something about with/without chrome Confused
