Back in my days of dinking with the fuel on the IROC (before I started burning chips Razz) I discovered that a replacement gasket and diaphragm from Schmucks costs about the same as an aftermarket AFPR. Shrug

Also, I have never seen a good product from BBK, so things that can puke fuel onto the exhaust and burn your car down should probably not be bought from them. Wink

I must have a horrible memory. I remember paying in the ~$20 range.

Earlier you gave us the ECM number as 01227730 wich is correct for the speed density TPi setup you seem to be running. However... if you could remove the panel on the computer (2- 1/4" screws) and let us know the 4 digits on the blue prom... should be something like AUJP. Sounds like you in limp mode. my guess is you have a 6 cyl PROM.
Also could be the knock sensor. it might be pulling back way too much timing.

@ Dv8 His PROM has no four-digit Chevy number. He's running a Painless wiring chip in the ECM, which should work fine for his setup.

the fpr is not blowing gas out any place i can see but the pressure is under 20 on my fuel rail gauge and hits zero any time i open the trottle. that is when the motor lands on it face and backfires. is there any thing else i'm missing. the pump filters and lines are all clear and a make good pressure when i block the return line.

Try pulling the regulator apart to check the diaphragm would be my only idea.

You mentioned the gas in the tank had gelled. Did you flush the tank and blow the lines after that?
