|
|
To start off..this is in a chevy s10, on the way to work the truck died on me the other day and i have it narrowed down to the throttle body somewhere. When i turn the key to start it the engine cranks but wont start, im gettin fuel all the way to the injectors. When i pull the fuel pressure/regulator thing off the top theres fuel in the injector bowls, im not real good at trouble shooting electrical stuff but when the key is on i have power going to both injectors.
Im not sure if the problem is the injectors or a problem somewhere after the injector that is causing it to not spray fuel. Been workin on it for a few days now and im stumped now. Im not real knowledgable with fuel injection but i would think that with fuel in the injector bowl and it not pumpin fuel into the intake that it would be bad injectors. Its not pumpin fuel out of either injectors so possibly both are bad. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

Injector driver, bad ground, bad wiring harness. Both injectors won't suddenly fail like that. |

distro pick-up? It is what tells the computer to fire the injectors. Just another thing to check. |

You need to check the pick-up coil. not just the distributor cap. The pick-up coil tells the fire the injectors. |

It's a series of small testers that have very small bulbs in them. Each one fits a different type of injector connector. As you turn over the engine it will blink the bulb telling you that it has injector pulse. _________________
