The cover that goes over the well. I broke the one in the 89 this morning, rather I finished breaking it. Working on the hatch motor, I tried to open it too far and I pulled the bolts through where they mount to the well, even after the holes were re-enforced with fender washers. _________________ 92 Camaro

What color is your interior? I saw a gray one the other day at the foster yard. _________________ Member of the "Elite T56 Club" , big brake club, and "burgundy" (not red or maroon) car owner.

I forgot to mention it's black. Might be able to get away with plastic paint and dye I found one last night on e-Bay for $50 plus $25 shipping, and a red one for twice that I haven't made an offer for either. |

Mine's missing the lock too. I'm driving across to work in Bothell on Wednesday, I might be able to stop by and have a look, maybe pick it up. Sometime between 4 & 5 OK? PM your address. |

I have a black one somewhere in my storage unit. I'll see if I can find it and get back to you. _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

I'll try to get to my storage unit on Saturday. Finding it will be the challenge! I have a couple of cargo covers also. A dark blue cloth one and a black leather/vinyl one. _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

Cool. If you get to it this weekend, I'm still on vacation through Monday.
I have one each of those retractable covers too. The cloth one used to be a nice faded purple color from the sun A little fabric spray dye and it's back to its black color. |

I got the cover. Its in great shape and still has the lock and everything. It just needs the carpet area vacuumed. _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

Maybe we can think of something cool to do if you're gonna drive all the way over here. You gonna drive across the Narrows and up I-5 or take the ferry across? _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

I'll more than likely do the ferry. Uses less gas, maybe costs a little more for the fare, but I can grab a nap while traveling |

When I was moving my stuff from my ex's to storage today I found a really nice black cover that I'd forgotten I had. If it doesn't work out with RSFreak let me know. _________________ Member of the "Elite T56 Club" , big brake club, and "burgundy" (not red or maroon) car owner.

Thanks Dan. Between the two covers, mine and his, I have a decent one now. Didn't know there were two types, one for the motorized hatch and one for the manual hatch. I may still want to take a look next time we get together and check it out. Was it for a motorized hatch?
My cover was good, where it mounts to the car was shot. I separated the hinges and used John's bracket on my cover, looks OK. |

It's been so long I don't remember. But here is a pic of it. White spots are from camera, they are not on the part. Cat is not included
