Dear QwkBert,

I have this problem when walking into any stores with those metal detectors, they go off almost all the time. I will interchange my clothes on the chance one of them has a tag that sets them off. No luck. I sometimes have employees/loss prevention dudes following me at the local Target. I have even gone in with as little clothing legally, and morally, acceptable!

A few years ago I probed my scalp with an o-scope, and to my amazement picked up my brain's frequencies in AC. It flunctuated between a few Khz to MHz.

Are the detectors picking up my brain waves? Is that safe? Or did the military put something in me?

Signed,

Probed? Veteran

Dear Probed Veteran,

It's those gigantic nuts of steel that you grew when in the military. After you've been a civilian a while they'll shrink down to the size of BB's and you won't have any more problems with metal detectors.
