Ok, I haven't been posting near as much as usual. And, I know some people :cough: baddawg :cough: told me, I should post up some pictures and stuff. Some people have been seeing these as I have been taking them, but I figured I would share a little with everyone.

So, for those of you who aren't on facebook, or not my friend on there :cough: schultzy :cough:., here is a little bit of what I've been up to....

Anyway, on to the very long, very picture heavy post.

Once or twice a week, I make sure to do a little of this...

And a little of that...

Sometime's the beer keeps me company...

I try to return the favor when I can...

Just make sure that you take time to enjoy the view...

Did I mention, that I stopped shaving, grew a gnarly beard!

But, after enough days in weather like this...

It was time for a change...so I did my best to try to look like a Californian...Margarita, check. Cell phone, check. Beard...errr...ummm.

Well, I admired the beach...

Ate some food...

watched the sunset's...

and said goodbye to California...

Because, I had to make an aparance at a wedding....

As soon as the wedding was over...I loaded up the Jeep...

Hit the road...

and said Hello to Canada!

Canada said Hello back...

In the form of Rich! Our fellow crewbie 90droptoproc, who let me crash at his house while I was in BC.

I guess there was something happening in BC, because there was sure a lot of people in Vancouver.

Rich kept trying to tell me, it had something to do with this little sculpture in downtown Vancouver, and wanted his picture with it.

Me on the other hand... I was dreaming about skiing again, it had been a few weeks since I had seen snow.

So, I set about waiting for bus, that promised some pretty good skiing...

Sure enough, the skiing was pretty good...

Not only that, they had plenty of bars to go get beers at...

And, the food was pretty good too...

But, the views from the ski runs, were by far the best part...

That was of course, until the Whistler employee's, told me I could ski the run I wanted to, because it was closed. I guess some other people took priority...

At least I wasn't the only one. I guess some other people were going to ski the same run I was.

It seemed that everywhere I went, other people were trying to ski the same run's I was.

But, again, the views were worth dealing with all the other people.

I said screw it, and went for another beer. There was a pretty neat little sculpture in front of the pub I went to, I snapped a picture with it.

So, I waited for another bus back to Vancouver, and descided that I would try coming back up again the next day, to see how the skiing was.

Luckily, there are some pretty good views along the route the bus takes.

The next day at Whistler, there was a some sort of concert going on, so I checked that out.

Some girls were there dancing...

And, even the skier's who were on the ski run I wanted to ski were there.

Not only that, there were giving them stuff too!

That was pretty much it for skiing, on my last day there though, I did get a very nice suprise from Rich and his wife Sarah.

They really were awesome host's, and made me feel more than welcome. Their hospitality was way more than I could have ever asked for. If any of you ever get the chance to go hang out in BC with Rich and Sarah, take the opportunity.

So, I think that is pretty much it for now....next on the list...

Fly to Texas, then road-trip with my brother to where he is stationed next
A motorcycle trip or two with Schultzy and hopefully Richster
ohh, and Costa Rica.

I'll be flying into San Antonio, then going to Del Rio where my brother is stationed at Laughlin AFB. From there, who knows, we won't know until he gets his next orders, but I told him I would drive with him to wherever his next station was, and then fly home from there.

Jake, PM me your phone number. Since there really isn't anything to do in Del Rio, and I've done the San Antonio riverwalk stuff before, we might go to Austin. At least there is a better beer selection in Austin.

pm sent. Austin is a pretty fun town if you've never been before. 6th street is one giant crazy party after about 9:00 pm every night of the week, and the capital building is definitely a must. Beer here is pretty good, but not very many dark brews like we northerners are used to, guess they all like light stuff to drink when its 1,000* outside.

wow. Quite the vacation! I'm jealous.

Coolest things I've done lately, is a trip to a hot springs a few weeks ago, and last weekend @ the coast.
