No offense to anyone that lives in the Tacoma area but this looks like a rough place. I'm sitting in an industrial area, I wouldn't want to be here after dark with out a piece. Laughing

Hell I spent a night in Vegas and a night in LA last week and it didn't look this bad. Confused

yeah is not the best looking place in the world...but if you think its bad there go to washington d.c. you be lucky to walk threw the city at night and only get stabbed

New Orleans had a worse feel then WDC.

Ive drove thru some areas in my town in early 90's. I think the only thing that saved me was some dark tinted windows and some 12" subs playing Dre, tupac, or snoop.

ive been to D.C. multiple times use to live in richmond,va on more then one occasion was i scared for my life in D.C. i remember one time with family we took a wrong turn...this was when i was a kid...we went to ask for directions and we were told.."you white ppl are not welcome here get lost before we cap you fools" unfortunate that was my first taste of racism when i was 12 years old...

i never been to New Orleans...so i dont know about there...but i do know D.C. has the highest or one of the highest murders in our country...its to bad ppl have to be so darn violent and darn right messed up...they just need a car to keep them busy lol

Tacoma doesnt have sh*t on Stockton CA. I worked in northern Stockton in the late 80's. For fun me and a buddy would drive to the south end of town at lunch and watch the cauose. I swear that small town inspired the TV show cops, it was amazing to watch live drug busts, immigration patrol raiding street corners and grabbing every Mexican they could, prostitutes under every over pass / street corner / dark alley and ATM machine. The prostitutes would try and climb in your ride at red lights, had to make sure your doors were locked. I saw one steal a guys red Tacoma when she wouldnt get out so he did. Dumby left the truck running, as he aproached the passengers side to toss her out she locked his doors and drove off. I was almost run over by a cracked out black guy that had just stolen a 57 chevy from a guy on a paving crew. Never will forget his eyes, they looked cartoonish.

I made the mistake of driving down towards the Stockton airport, I ran every red light to get out of there before some one carjacked my truck. Ever had a mob look at you then start walking towards you trying to get you to roll down your window? Try that at every intersection. That place is a SH*T HOLE.

The worst place I was ever laid over was Jackson Mississipi. Charlie Daniels was right, not a place to be on saturday night if your not a local.

Thankfully I had my 45 auto with me, took it out once, was left alone the rest of the weekend Very Happy

Gary IN. Birmingham AL, Jessup MD, Elizabeth NJ, I second New Orleans LA, Newark NJ, there are plenty of places much worse than Tacoma, but now you know why its known as Tacompton. Wink
