Hey guys haven't posted here in a while. Just thought I'd give a update on what I've been doing. I no longer own a thirdgen. I know sad but I really dont see myself getting another one for a long while. But I have this new obsession.

That's me on my second track day at pacific raceways. The first track day my buddy and I took a class where they teach you basic race stuff. Turns out we did all the stuff they were teaching anyways, only thing we needed to see was a proper body position for cornering. It was raining out most of the first track day but when it started to clear up we had started in relaxed 100 level which is for noobs. We emediatlly got bumped up to the 200 level. That was way better. So the second tack day was nice and about 80 degrees out. We started in the 200 level class this time. And we were lapping everyone out there. So we got bumped up to 300 level which is the highest level they have. Its the level that actual racers are in. That's when we started to get passed. LOL But its a blast. Here is a link to my friends helmet cam on the second track day. If you watch it I'm in front and yes I get passed by my friend. But when he does I stay right behind him the hole time.

Ya its so awesome! I cant wait for next track season. When my friend and I got bumped to the 300 level we were already really fatigued so we couldn't really push ourselves anymore then we were. Plus most of the bikes there are modded. Espesually in the 300 class. Most of them had full exhaust power comander and K&N airfilters. Next time though we are signing up for 300. Till then I'll be saving for a 09 Ninja zx6-r. They are awesome bikes. Then I'll be investing in all race plastics, new rear sets, full exhaust, power comander, and a K&N filter. I will probably start the season out with my 05 but hope to get a 09 before the season ends. My friend and I are also going to be taking a class to get our race license so we can enter races once we get a little better.

That's pretty cool. What organization are you racing with? We have OMRRA at PIR on a regular basis.

I have been doing the track days through a company called 2fast. They are great people. Its not actually a race. Just track time to get ready for racing.
