Alright, started the tranny swap today. Took some pics, had the motor out in a few hours!


Starting the tear down...intake off and some other stuff off. 8 AM!


Front bumper off for workspace.


Front header off.


Exhaust valves FTW.


Rear header next.


Dad helping out!


Getting exhaust off.


Isn't ATF supposed to be red?!?! Laughing Laughing Laughing


Starting to get CV Axles out.


About to pull the motor!


Dad cracked a joke lol


Out! Def a 2 person job. Very Happy


All the way out.


Moving it to the back of the garage.


It's new home for a few days.

I think your engine was in there sideways! you should fix that before you put it back in.

Looks like you're having lots of fun. Cool But let me ask, how are you going to get cool scars with those gloves on your hands? You missed out on the best part of the job.... bloody knuckles and cuts in the skin at the top of the finger nails (we all know those little slits sting). Wink

Weather here sucks. You know whats funny though man. Today it was so nice out, 95 degrees, awesome weather.

Now, its pouring down rain, and now we are in severe thunderstorm and tornado watch.

You have to. The way the tranny mount is and the subframe is, you just have to.
