				| My moates stuff is on the way! Went with the burn2, 4 blank 512 chips and the cabl1. Im stoked! Expecting it all to be here monday sometime. Now I need to find someone with a soldering iron, *cough* Skyler, to help me put in my adapter.
 Tips for Newbie tuners?

				| Don't know how it relates to TBI stuff, but the two biggest things I did were fixing all the temp controlled stuff (160* t-stat) and zeroing all but the main timing table, and working from there. | |

				| I am running a 180* stat. and I have my single fan on a relay with a manual switch. What do you mean by "zeroing" exactly?

				| Good luck getting a 512 chip to work. If you find out, let me know. Never could get those things to work. Only The atmel 256 chips.
Other than that, lots of tuning to be had. Get an O2 bung, lots of beer, and a bribe to a certain crewbie and we can get you nailed.

Whats up with the 512 chips? As for the bung, I've got a wideband in there already if thats what it for?

I think it's an addressing thing. It's on Moates' site where to set the beginning address (in the section where you order chips and stuff IIRC). I think I've got one to work, but I need to go back and figure out what I did

Hey now, do you know how much tuning it takes to fix a spotty throttle sensor? A LOT.

				| I thought it needed tuning before, it ran really crappy when it was cold then just less crappy once warmed up... Then dyno showed me the 16:1 AFR at wide-open! | |

When I first dyno'd the bird I pegged it 10:1. I'm sure it was richer, just didn't show. | |

As did I (10.8 or something, I think). It's better now (in the 12.x:1 range ), but still not perfect. I suppose that goes to show, even those of us who do alot with the tuning thing don't have their own stuff tuned perfectly.

				| even with a WB, getting the AE tuned right is the hardest part of tuning TBI. | |

Acceleration enrichment would probably be the hardest part...its the hardest part of tuning on my car as well. (PE)

				| Well I feel like a dork for saying this but I tried to hook up my ALDU1 to do some datalogging, and It's making the connection to my computer but it isn't connecting to tunerpro or WinALDL for that matter... This link might explain why...

 http://www.tunerpro.net/FAQALDL.htm

But I don't really know what to do...
