Seems like celebrities i've grown up with are dropping like flies now. Farrah died, and now I see Michael Jackson died. More sorry bout Farrah then Michael, but he did have some good music in the 80s.

So basically, since Michael Jackson died, no body will give Farrah Fawcett or Ed McMahon a proper tribute? Because he's so much more important, pfft, yeah right. Media makes me sick...

I guess he is more important than real news also. I had to scroll all the way past all the MJ stuff, just to find out that the Iranian protesting fired back up, and other important world news, such as everyones favorite dictator Kim Jung Il, saying he is going to blow up the United States.

Isnt it sad that a man that served in two wars and who also was a media icon passes away and is ignored, but a fruit loop musician who " may have molested several children" gets more media coverage?

What the hell is wrong with people. I dont blame the media becuase they only promote what the masses want.

We really do have the power, it just isnt political power. The almighty dollar controls everything. Dont like it? spend it elswere and then watch the spin.

If you haven't already read it, read Brave New World... then look at the current media.

I read The Huxley book in high school. Good read.

In my mind Farrah was the best looking of the three. So in my mind she should have gotten the most media coverage.

I'm more sorry about Farrah Major Fawcett's and Ed than the little pervert any day. Farrah was HOT in my day.

Glad to see in our little corner of the web we know right from wrong and who to actually morn in passing.

i havn't been on for a while, MJ wasn't all bad. i'm only 19 and i've gotta say alot of his music is good.. thing is everyone's knockin him sayin he "may have" touched kids. you know kobe got accused of the same thing, so have a few other celebs. people are just hungry for money and will do anything to get it, even if it means tainting someone's image. reguardless these past few months have sucked and we also lost the great kung fu master david caradine..his death seems a little sketch. basically what i'm tryin to say is the dude's dead, why bring up the bad memory's and why not remember the good. what other guy had a bad a** chimp named bubbles.

none of the other celebs I can think of invited the neighbor kids-kids mind you, not some over 18 hotel clerk but little kids, over to his house then brag about sleeping with them in his BED WITH HIM.
with all due respect to you, your 19, this happened in what 03 i think it was when you were 13. When you were 13 you no doubt heard about it but equally as obvious is that a 13 year old didn't see it then same way as someone like me. I was 33 at that time and I can tell you the line between right and wrong isnt nearly as fuzzy as some people say it is, sleeping with little kids in your bed that aren't yours is wrong period. Was it proven in court that anything more than that happened? no.
But now its your turn prove to me beyond any shadow of a doubt that the sky is blue. You can't do it. If you hold up a color chip and demonstrate that they are both the same color I will just say that only proves the color chip isn't blue either, but yet we both know it is. And most people know MJ is what he is. I am sorry for your loss though, I understand youre mourning right now, I celebrated.

. . . The same color as the sky, but that doesn't mean blue. But anyway you get the point knowing something to be true and proving it are two different matters
