Going to be @ Bremerton raceway...... Taking The cougar that we built at the shop out for it's first shakedown passes and getting myself a NHRA Comp license. Maybe someone will be in the neighborhood and wants to stop by. Cool

What's the time on Friday? The raceway is almost in my back yard - well, other side of town. I get home about 6:00 on Friday, free all day Saturday, unless overtime is available. Maybe we could meet up for a couple of brews later??

Im not sure of the particulars basically I am just along for the ride lol and to drive the car of course haha. I think we will be there all day friday but I am not sure if we are traveling home or if we are going to stay over. If you manage to stop by in time say hello! Smile

Well just got home safe and sound. Car ran well. Fought several small problems throughout the day but all in all it was a good day. I had to adapt to this beast! Alot different then a small block Camaro lol.

I have my License now for anything 7.50 to 9.99

They have you run a series of passes where they set you out so far each time and as you handle the car they progress the distance. Last pass of the day was a moderate motor pass. 9.80 @ 140

Dead tired going to bed! LONGGGG day!

To be more exact it was 9.87 @ 138.90 or something like that. Just looked at the slip

Now I can start opening the car up a little more and getting the times down. Car should have a solid low 9 second pass in her before turning the bottle on (which is what the motor is purpose built for).

605CI and 1500HP can be handful! I will try to get pics up if I can find the guy that was taking pictures!

Yep I can climb into anything now and run all the way into the mid 7's before needing to step to the next license.
