Kids, they are like the only form of human's that DO fit in the back seat of F-bodies.

Instead of an explorer may I suggest a Durango, unless you are dead set on new (which isnt bad cause of the hemi Very Happy). You could probably get the "old" bodystyle 2002 or 2003 pretty cheap, or like a 1996 for really cheap.

The new Toyota Tundra's are extremely nice as well, lots and lots of legroom in the back, you wouldnt believe by looking at them.

A 96 model Durrango would be well out of any of our price ranges considering it would have been a prototype. The durrango didn't appear until the 98 model year.

Some friends of mine got their 2k durrango a year ago for $12,300 as a lease return. Low book was $17,500. you can get 98's for as little as $6k now if you know how to do it.

There is absolutely no good excuse for buying a Dodge.

You would buy a ford over a dodge... Bah... At least Dodge still sells decently priced yet well optioned cars with manual transmissions... unlike some car companies *cough*gm*cough*

Smile

Already have. All Dodge has going for them is the Cummins. As far as cars goes nobody really impresses me lately so I prefer to just build my own. Smile

Durango's don't have the locking seatbelts in the back so child seats don't stay in well. The only suv i've seen that does is the explorer so that's what I'm going to get. Children may fit allright in the back of the fbody but try putting two car seats in there and having them sit perfectly. It won't happen. So yes I'm getting an explorer.
