im upgrading rear ends, i will have a 4.10 gear ration so what new speedo gear do i need for my tranny?

15/45. As far as I know, they don't make the right one, you can only get close.

What tire size and what drive gear is in what transmission?

my tires are 245/45/17 and my rear end is 3.23 now, and i have no idea what gear is in the tranny, all i know is that it is a olive green color, and its the stock one.

If your speedo is correct, then you should have an 18/45
When you put the new rear gears in, a 15/45 will get you close but you'll still read about 6% faster. That's the trouble with 4.10's in our cars with stock sized tires. The Transmission Center sells the stuff you need to get it changed over.

well my tires arent completly stock size but pretty close...that website said it will say 53mph if i am going 50 and thats for a 26 inch tire...so i guess i need the 15/45 then.

What transmission is this?

It's a 26" tall tire according to TCI.

I don't understand how you guys are figuring this.

Are you saying your speed driven gear has 45 teeth and you're only changing the drive gear?!

well i wouldnt worry about it anymore, i was supposed to pick up the rear end tomorrow but he just told me he sold the whole car...dang it
