It's really kind of unnatural I think. 
I also ordered a pair of c5 ebrake backing plates because I'd like to get the rears on eventually and ed miller seems caught up with other things.
I really like how these calipers are pretty much a satin almost anodized finish with gloss lettering. |

I thought about a set of the C5 rears before I settled on the LS1 style. I wasn't sure if I could adapt the backing plate to the axle flange.
I like the Brembos, except for the finish, they look alot like John's.

I haven't seen the -V calipers anywhere but on a car but they look like the same exact caliper, just with a different finish. If that's the case, then they'll be EASY to adapt. |

Nope! I thought I had everything wired up correctly and fired it off. Started okay and I left it at that. When I went to move it to my new place I found I had crossed a few of the wires (o2s mainly) and miswired the fans. So it started, but wouldn't stay cool and ran like ass under load. While I was tearing into it this time I decided to move the battery as well.
I can't pass up cheap brakes! I'm not actually 100% whether these are going on. I ordered these because they were so cheap ($100/per caliper) and I remember how the cts-v brakes started out cheap and went way up in price. |

Nice, looks just like my -V calipers.
Hey, are those the "revised" ones? I saw GM was having problems with "brake noise" on the Camaro's and stuck a couple of wheel weights on the calipers, lol.

Supposedly the revised ones. They're on backorder and I got lucky and got a finger in one of the shipment releases. Even if they weren't, it wouldn't bother me any. I doubt with how I'll be mounting them I'd be able to duplicate that specific resonant frequency.
