I am thinking of putting an electric cut out right after the y pipe on my car. I know I will lose low end torque but gain top end hp. How much hp do you think I will gain 10hp? I can't really find any information recomending one brand over another. I have heard some have problems with leaking. Could you guys give me some brand recomendations aswell please.
Thanks |

| A few years ago I tested my cut out on the dyno. I gained 6hp with it open, don't think I lost any low end power either. It was a fun toy, but I would never do another one, after about a year it started to leak and rattle. I finally pulled it off and tossed it on the shelf. |

I ran manual dual cut outs on mine for quite some time they seems to last OK and not leak although mine doesn't get driven on a daily basis. _________________

| I have un-bolt cut-outs on mine. I plan to buy materials to remove it. I never use it, drag the crap out of it creating leaks. |

| I found a company from ls1 tech called dmh they have a 4 year warranty. If I go this route I will probably probably get them for the warranty. |
