ok, so i've had a bad experience with the fuel pump once before.
i ended up driving around a couple weeks ago and i could not hold a steady rpm rate, then as i putted into a gas station, it died all together, so i went to start it, and it will run at idle and if you give it any gas at all it will try to rev up and die, today i pulled the fuel pump, tried one we have sitting here, then went and bought a new one and put it in, same problem.. i'm about ready to just sell the damn car since i drive it litterally a month at a time. before it breaks down.
basically before i hand over hard earned dollars to a shop what else should i check? fuel pressure regulater? i changed the fuel filter already...
thanks in advance for any help. _________________

Check the small rubber line the connects the fuel pump to the output tube. A small crack or hole in that, and you won't build any pressure at all.
