I NEED A MECHANIC TO REPLACE MY T5 TRANNY WITH THE ONE I'M LOOKING TO BUY. I EITHER NEED SOMEONE WHO WON'T RAPE ME IN CHARGES OR WILL ALLOW ME TO HELP FOR A DISCOUNTED PRICE.
ANYONE WANT A JOB.....PS ONCE I HAVE THE TRANNY IT NEEDS TO TAKE NO LONGER THAN A WEEKEND TO DO...............

4 hour job. Shops are $100+/hr
Why are you replacing the trans? You need to replace the pilot bushing also. Are you changing clutches?
Don't forget ATF.

it suppossibly has a new clutch, tranny takes 80w/90, i'm pretty sure trannies toast, how much are pilot bushings.
i can spend like 350.00 _________________

It actually calls for a GLS grade. It's a special Gear Lube. They ditched that in like '85 and ran ATF. Nothing changed internally. Pilots are about $5-10 _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |
