1974 Firebird Formula 400
400 Pontiac motor, #'s matching, runs but smokes really bad
TH400 seems solid
Factory fiberglass hood needs work
Car needs lots of work, definite project car
Have lots of stuff in boxes
Been sitting for about 3 years, before I bought it it was in a barn
This thing is taking up valuable garage space and I need to get rid of it.
First person with $300 and a trailer can have it. _________________ '85 T/A: 305 LG4, 700R4, Edelbrock TES headers, Hooker catback, K&N filter

With a name like that, I am sure you will have no problem getting someone to buy it.

Slacker85ta(Mark?)... I know your heading to Houston soon. This project sounds good to me. I can pay you and pick it up saturday if you're around.
Need to know if it can be towed on a dolly, or will I need a full trailer? Send me any info you can. |

Bout the only one I can count on not gettin finished is frankenvelle. I've completed at least a 1/2 dozen projects since starting that car. For some reason I just never warmed to it much. I finished my blue 70 pickup probably 10 years ago.. and i slowly add to it as I go as well. Needs to be redone again now. Also did my formula, a 68 gmc, and several projects for other people. I'm currently nearing completion of my work truck a 74 gmc that i'm converting to 3/4 ton and put a different motor/trans in. Just bolting on new front sheet metal and doors at the moment.
Now.. you still riding that 305? Or you goin to actually ride in that car?? |

Laugh all you want.
If I had the gas money all that stuff would probably be sitting in my storage garage. _________________

Sorry I didn't respond sooner.
I don't have any pics of it and my PC is down. I'm actually using a computer at my Mom's office so it might be a few days before I can get back to anybody.
The front sheetmetal is partly disassembled but I can put it back together for transport. It is a roller but would require a flat-bed or trailer to tow, most likely.
Anybody still wants it, or has any questions, let me know and send an e-mail to me.
