ok, so i posted up both of my car's for trade and have some cash, i got a reply to it from somone, and the first one read:

"did you find what you were looking for yet?"

then the second one say's (i did not click the links, don't hold me responsible if it's a BAD link):

"I know they may not be exactly what you had in mind, butif price were no issue, would any of these vehicles work?

"Scam" and "Car salesperson" are frequently indistinguishable terms. I would say a little of both.

it raised a red flag, but i read alot on here about dealing with craigslist, so i just wanted to see if someone else had ran into this before

Those links don't work unless you remove the car model name from in front of the http in the link. Then you go to Auto Ferret which is a supposed trading site. Legit, I dunno Confused

that's a product of my not hitting space at the right part,
and whoever/whatever, wrote me asking for my # and i told them i didn't have one (which obviously duh i do) and i asked if they were local and a number to get a hold of them, then i got a reply saying
"i don't know if i lost your number or forgot it, what was it again?"

so somthing's up,
i also got a legit reply on a '76 nova, no word on what the motor is, but i'm not really a fan of the body..

selling a car some one contacts me if it still for sale? I reply yes. he tells me he is going to give a an extra 50 bucks cash if i hold it for a few days cause he is going to send me a check just wants my name, address, phone number, so he can send it to me and after the check clears we can talk about sending him the car.. so i said i will hold the the car so you can cash your own check never heard from again
