| k i was dinking around and trying to put my 4th gen center console in and noticed that if i want it to fit i need to move my shifter back a 1-1-1/2 inches and then my radio pod doesnt fit at all i was under the assumption it was close to being a direct fit did i get the wrong one ? or does it have to be out of a camaro ? maybe just the autos are diff it just doesnt seem to fit and look right the way it has to be i may just see if they'll let me swap it back for the 3rd gen one in there wasnt shure where to put this post so i put it in here .. any ideas are helpfull |

I have a Trans Am 6 speed console. It needed a bit of trimming on the front brace. Even after that it has to be coerced into place the first time before the mounting holes lined up under the console lid. After that it seemed to slip in place easily.
They aren't exactly a perfect fit. The interface to the dash looks unfinished. Wrong width. But to the casual observer it looks pretty good. |

| yea i had it all set in there where the bolts lined up in the back part i would of looked nice but ... lol i may sell it or trade it for another 3rd gen i've found a couple complete T-5 set-ups im looking at getting and then i'd have to change it all over lol so yea nevermind lol it's all good |
