|
|
Ok guys. I spoke with Steve, the date that we were hoping for of Feb. 7th, will NOT work. Steve and I looked at the calander, and come up with 2 possible dates.
The Dates are:
Jan 23rd-25th
Feb 20th-22nd
So we need to pick which of those dates we want, and I will let Steve know.
Please vote, I will tell him the date that gets the most vote.
(Please only vote if you WILL be showing up. Planning a date for people who will not make it, doesn't really help.)
Thanks,
John _________________

Voted for end of Feb.
Either or is fine, as long as I have enough time/money to get the car buttoned up, and give notice to work about being off that weekend. _________________

Didn't matter too much to me but looking like several people prefer late Feb so I voted that way. It being Al's birthday put me over the top
Looks like we will need a dinner gathering or mini-meet between now and then though. Too far in between!

Ok, Talked to them this morning. We are penciled in for the 21st. Steve is for about a week, but they put us on the calander. I'll post up all the detailed information in the next couple of weeks.

My 89 RS is not much more than stock and it's going on the rollers. If I can get the 92 down there too I might consider putting its V6 power on the rollers _________________ 92 Camaro

We won't laugh Greg, well much! Seriously, if you think you will be modding the car in the future it is good to get some baseline numbers. It is fun to watch how the changes affect power/torque.
We have been using the same dyno for several years so good comparison. We probably should have been a bit more diligent on keeping a good database of mods and the hp/tq gains. We have accumulated quite a bit of real world knowledge though.
I know lots of ways to blow an engine or transmission up!
