so on a 1991 Z28 an 1995 LT1 should bolt in the car no problem right? i'm not worried about the wiring at this point, but the motor should bolt up to the 91' 700R4, with the right flex plate, and right motor mounts correct?

Yes, the block will bolt into your car and transmission. Get some sbc engine brackets and you're set. Only 2 of the 3 bolts on the passenger side will line up though. You also cannot fit the AC pump on in that engine bay so go get an AC delete pulley and you'll be fine.

HOWEVER, the 95 LT1 uses a different transmission. So I'd use a manual PCM. You'll have to use a 95+ PCM too cause the opti-spark changed for the OBDII (95+) systems. I'll tell you all I know if you want to know more.

perfect! i take it you've done this before? well i made the deal on the car, and made the deal on the motor. so i hope to have the whole pile of parts in my possetion by the end of the weekend.

and i don't want A/C on the car. i'm planning on having only the bare essentials in the engine bay. i plan on doing a wire tuck, and smoothing the whole engine bay before i drop the engine in.

so as far as wiring goes, i have the entire engine harness off the 95, and it was a 6 speed. am i going to need to purchase any adapters, wiring kits, or anything specific to the car? or is it a pretty straight foward bolt and plug in procedure?

I would start looking for a decent programmer. You might have to go with EFILive since it should be OBDII. Look at my signature for details on how I did mine. Making the harness a standalone is pretty easy too. I did have to change my speedometer though cause of my transmission. If you are using the 700r4 then you probably won't have troubles. Those engine's are power houses compared to the stock 3rd gen powertrains. If I could do it again I'd do a better job at the wiring. I basically did the bare minimum to get it running.

EFI doesnt do LT1's. He most likelly would need the LT1 edit program(yes, thats the name).

Basically, moates will have whatever you need.

is it possible for me to just use like a hypertech power programmer for a 95' Z28??? and i yeah i am running a 700R4.

The stock programming for the LT1 is pretty good. All of my datalogs have pointed to being pretty sweet. Since you have a manual you won't need to change anything if you hook everything back up. You'll also have to bypass the VATS or just wire it back in. I would definetly program the 4L60E but not the manual. Just wire it all up and it should work as is.

I got mine from the dealer. Not sure what the part number is. I'll dig around and see if I can find it. Have you called and asked parts for an AC Delete pulley?
