Could these be some bad bushings or does anyone know what will cause this... or is it all kinds of thing... even in the rain when my tires spin my rear just starts to hop and bounce like crazy even my inside centercosole looks like it is gonna jump out the car. Bad bushing or what? please help

Tim

Shocks wont make the shifter want to come out of the console.

What about the bushings around the c-clamp where the torque arm connects to the yoke area.

That or check and see what condition your lower control arms are in.

The wheel hop problem comes from weak suspension components and/or bad geometry in the LCA's. I've heard that it also comes from having just enough HP to spin the tires a little but not enough to get them really going. If the control arms, torque arm and panhard bar is all stock then there is a lot of flex in there. If the car is lower than stock and your control arms are higher where they connect on the axle than where they're connected to the subframe on the car then that's a problem too. Stiffen up the suspension would be the first thing to do IMHO.

it can also come from weak shocks. not enough rear spring weight, so the car sits itself down from the compresion on acceleration. deflection of hte LCA's really 'shouldn't' cause it, but could be part of it. It sounds like something is loose, it could be any number of things. since you already replaced the tranny mount. i would check the condition of the other bushings in the rear supsension.

OK guys ill give everything a check over... and its not the shifter that is jumping out of the console.. the whole console itself is tryin to get the hell out of the car... like im going to elk river or something... hehe.

All the suspension is completely stock, car hasnt been lowered... but i have noticed the car is a lil sloppy in all aspects. Ill give everything a look over.
