So the ssscc (sand and sage sports car club) just sent me an email saying that the first winter heat autocross is scheduled for jan 26/27 at dust devil baseball stadium in pasco WA. I'll def be there. I really like racing with this club, there laid back and about having a fun safe time. Cant wait to get out there and put the Hammer Down!

You need a valid drivers liscence 30 bucks for the entry fee. and your car needs to pass tech, battery tied down securley, neutral saftey switch, functional seat belts, im sure theres more that im forgetting so check out ssscc.org for more info. i'll be running on sunday for sure, maybe sat.

so looks like were expecting rain/snow sat afternoon/night into sunday. I will now be running on Saturday cuz the race may be cancelled on sun due to weather. Its gonna be cold, but the birds ready to go and so am i hopefully i'll get a trophy this time.

So it wound up snowing through most of the race, it was more of a snowy drizzle, but we got all of our runs in, i got 3 out of 3 in my class, the Fwd and AWD beat the bird in the snow, go figure:) but i had fun, it was crazy driving on the way back lots of snow, had to chain up, got a pic of the bird in all her snow tackling glory on my profile. she did really well, we cruised past at least 5 or six differnt wrecks on the way back.
