What would I be gaining ditching the charcoal canister, and everything associated with that mess of fuel and vaccum lines next to the power steering box?

I highly doubt it will increaes performance, but all of that stuff just looks ugly and I was wondering how hard/what problems would tearing it all out cause?

You wont gain anything but it being more pleasing on the eyes, and if you have emissions, the vent line from the tank may make the test read worse than you are if it's vented into the atmosphere.

Well... damn.

I guess the only way to fix the appearance of the charcoal canister is some simple green, black spray paint, and a couple of NOS stickers.
