well the car isnt in as good as condition as i thought, the paint and everything looks fine, the interior is kinda worse off than i thought. the thieves had their way with the passenger side lock and door is pretty hammered around the key lock and then the ignition ill never get a key in that its pretty hammered itself. they never got the vehicle whoever was tryin to steal it. it has vats and im not sure what im going to need to do to get this car back on the road? how can i fix the ignition and everything for the key i got? or how does the vats work? thanks guys

vats is just a resistor chip in the key,if it matches the resistor in the vats module,car firesup { i had to bypass this on my 89 fbird}

i cant recall everything,but you need to check the resistance of the chip in the key ,and buy one { i think i got one of the same resistor at radio shack,been 4years so i could be wrong lol} wire it in the vats module so it thinks the correct key is being used... its easy to do actually.

Or get a custom burned chip and have VATS disabled.

do you just need to get it home?

We can probably figure out a time to bring my chip adaptor over, i can make a stock chip, with VATS disabled. that should at least get the car back to your place.

well, we can take the chip adaptor out of my car. so that means after we take the car somewhere, we will have to take the chip, and me, back to my car Wink

PM me, and we can try to figure out a time to do that.
