Having listened to many of you telling me how ugly those old vette wheels are, here's my upgrade to 2000 SS wheels and 275/40-17's... a much better fit... and, admittedly, a much better look.

New paint... new wheels.

Man that looks great now. I love those wheels on 3rd gens of all kinds. There was a T/A for sale with those on it recently, but they wanted $5500 for it and it had a 2.8L in it! Laughing

I'll get to that, but the D/S seat needs to be repaired, as do the door panels... maybe a new carpet and the cloth is coming down off the ceiling.

I'll get that squared away, and then look at lowering.

What do we have now, like 4 different Kelly's in the crew? That and the many different Mike's ought to confuse some people Laughing

Yes! Thanks Jess for clarifying that! I really wasn't aware that "Kage87Z" was Kelly also (really need to learn everybody's name in case I ever get the chance to meet them!)

Anyway, Kelly, I'll PM you later...

Wow, the owner must be an idiot then, because I'm sure I am not the only person who looked at it and drooled until I saw that it had a 2.8 in it. Maybe he rebadged it?

It was VERY nice on the outside, so I couldn't understand why he didn't put as much energy/money into the inside of it too.
