Great, forcast is showing rain.

But, everyone also remeber, you can't race in shorts, so remeber to have a pair of long pants with you. (ask me how I know about this rule.)

I'm secretly hoping for a mis-fire.

(if everyone else runs bad, maybe I won't have to run good!)

Comp 987's

Just can't warrant the $'s for beehives right now. Haven't drove it yet though, got them done last night and changed the jets in the carb tonight. I found that I have some really worn valve guides, so after this weekend the heads will have to come off. Crying or Very sad

John, no misses. She'll either beat you or blow up trying.

One of them is pretty bad. I can move the top of the valve around about a quarter of an inch. The rocker was running crooked on the valve, wore a pushrod sized slot in the guide plate, and wore a flat spot on the roller tip rocker. Got close to having a wreck. Of course you can't buy anything here on a Sunday so I moved some of the damaged stuff to differant cylinders and put good pieces on the bad holes. I'm crossing my fingers that everything holds together when she see's 6000 rpms for the first time. But my only other options was to cancel this weekend.
