ok i have some heads 350 chev look like mid 70s casting number is
3973487x i dunno anybody got a clue?

which ones 194 or 202? are these worth the price of fame? came of a 4bolt motor which i have acces to but only block and crank any way im just lookin to dump them cheap make me an offer they came of a running motor he was gonna rebuild it but stuff happened so... suppose to be corvette motor 150 whole thing 509 968 3383

Those are vette heads. The X at the end of the # indicates corvette. Those are the 71-2 LT1 heads. Not as good as the earlier lt1 heads because of the 75cc combustion chambers.. low compression. Might be allright on a 383 though. I recently saw the local junk man hauling a set of these away.

ok so maybe i shoulkd put them on my boat? i gotta bayliner with a 350 chev motor i was gonna stuff a truck motor into so in you guys opinion they arnt worth crap cuz of combustion chamber right? there is no more room in the heads for valves they are right up to the quench area so im thinking 202 valves like i said they were on a 4bolt main block which im picking up tomorrow also a 4 barrel manifold no egr

Beings they're X casting they most likely are 2.02s. They're probably not a bad flowing head for the day. LT-1s were bad ass motors. But on a 350 with flat tops they'll probably net you 8:1 compression. On a 383 or 400 they might be pretty nice.

ya if they dont sell i think there gonna go on my boat its a big ass cabin cruiser 25 foot i wana get in on the pike deal lotta people makin money on the river and my girl likes to fish what more could a guy ask? i mean i have a motor to go in there and if sombody wanted them i could deliver i go to portland a lot
