This weekend TJ and I did a little more cleaning to the engine bay of my RS. Finally got that chrome upper radiator hose I've been wanting for a while now but couldn't wait for Ian to get back from lunch so didn't get my Crewbie discount on it! Mad That plus tried out some high temp aluminum paint on the upper intake. We will probably paint the rest of the intake before summer.

Nice looking man, especially that CAI. Did you have to delete the evap canister to fit the filter in?

Thanks for the compliments guys. Cool

Yeah, I removed the canister and used a 4" hole saw to cut a hole where it resided and the filter mounts underneath.

I'd love to make the Cows gathering but that weekend is already gonna be very busy. What really sucks is I have the next week off! Sad

Yeah, that length was just about perfect to clear everything. After taking those pics I rotated the MAF so it wasn't contacting the hose. Only snag was couldn't use the chrome cover piece on the water neck end because it was just too tight. As it was we had to grind down the alt bracket to make the connector fit! Cool

Just you wait Jake.....as soon as we get that 2 miles worth of CFI wiring out of there, your engine bay will look cleaner than mine.

I don't think a bunch of drunks un-wiring Jake's car is a great idea. Shocked
