Well, I helped bring Marky Marks number of 3rdgens down two on thursday. He wanted my Jimmy so bad we traded.
I would have posted yesterday but I woke up with the flu so I was busy praying to the ol' toliet all day.
Anyways.. 1984 Trans Am HO, 3.73 posi disc, 305, etc.. Only thing wrong with the interior is the top of the rear seats and the rear cargo area carpet. Even the little throttle actuated cowl induction thingy works.. Im kinda undecided on the color, it's cool in an 80's sorta way, but I am thinking a metallic gold like they offered on the 98 F-bodies with GTA wheels would look pretty nice. That and lose the tail lights for some 85-up pieces.
The Z28 needs some work, so Im not sure what Im gonna do with it just yet. Im still kinda under the weather, washing the T/A was about all my stomach could handle.
Anyways.. Pics.

that sucks you got the flu, heres hoping i DONT! i ended up pulling into my driveway around 6am weather was horrible,i got on highway38 and the fog was INSANE,and it was pouring down rain.
i averaged my gas mileage out,i got 14 mpg avereaged there and back, which aint bad i guess for a 360 and a 5500 pound truck pullin a 3500 pound car lol, total trip when i pulled into my driveway was dead on 440 miles.
anyways,i hope your happy with em dude,im kinda bummed i dont have the t/a anymore but ill be happy with the jimmy when i get it! haha
i thought about heading back down maybe tommorww, but im not sure yet, especially since you have the flu,not something i want LOL.im probably just going to get the car trailer when shes done with it and head back down with the dodge,im not sure yet. i returned the car dolly 110 dollars later
havent seen ya online and now i know why, anyways i made it home ok,was cool hangin out with yua, good times indeed.try to get online tonight so we can work out the rest of the details!
im glad everything worked out relativley hassle free as far as the trip was concerned lol,im SO GLAD the jimmy wouldnt fit on the car dolly, with the weather, and how tired i was,i almost lost it a few times,if the jimmy had been behind the truck it would be a different story im sure,so far as im concerned it worked out for the better
in conclusion,it was fun, nice trip, glad the t/a made it with no problems, and i wish my truck got 30mpg
btw,i still CANT beleive the gas mileage the T/A got going down there, with a holley DP,thats absurd! |

Heh heh, how did the sale of that thing go anyways?
I might post on the full size board when I end up with a full size again, but until then I doubt it. Good people, but that board makes my head hurt.

Wow, that bird has the exact same interior I used to have... I had never scene someone else with an almond interior before. It looks so much better on a white&gold car then it did with a red car. _________________

Yeah, I picked it up from a guy in Lakewood around this last New Year's for $3200 (with some damage to the front quarter) Replaced a few fuses, drove her daily for a bit and right now she's in the garage getting the HSR and t56; by the end of the summer the 406 I have in my garage is going in. I'm real happy with it. You saw my old car I think; world of improvement.
When did you come back to t-town? Yeah, I don't have much time off anymore because I work almost everyday (including most weekends) but we should get together and check eachothers cars out. It's been awhile. Maybe a mini-gathering like at Denny's last time? |
