will the gold come off?

I'd rather replace the gold with black.

I'm changing to a set of 90-92 style wheels and am putting the gold on them rather than taking it off. Accents the color of my car that way.So yes they can be painted. I did my first one without using a primer sealer and it was a real pain. For the rest I got a good grade primer sealer and things went 1000% faster. Nicer results, and far less paint used this way.

I agree Dan, gold wheels do look nice on a red car.

I'm outta here

Thinking about it...

I'd have to buy rubber for them though, since my RS wheels are 15"

Don't have to get rubber right away.

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Kumho&tireModel=ECSTA+AST&partnum=45HR6EAST&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes&place=0

Kumho ECSTA AST (High Performance All-Season)
Size: 245/50HR16
Blackwall
HR Speed Rated
Price: $64.00 (each)
Estimated Availability:
In Stock

Bring that to America's Tire Co.

It will be 64 + 20 s/h + 12 Mount/balance.

$ 96 ea.

Or froogle the tire size and find some cheaper.

If they're there in a week, its a done deal.

I have a strict budget this week...next week will just be play money for me.
