So I went home for the weekend and finished rebuilding my carb. Put the new floats in and threw it on the car. Started up and it ran like CRAP! Idled rough and was dumping fuel. I found that my new floats were different shape and didn't touch the needle valve the same. I adjusted the needle valves down and moved the idle screws in a half turn and now that thing just purrs like a kitten. Like a big mean badass kitten that wants to tear your face off!

Very Happy

I let it idle for a bout 10 min and after there was no smoke, no smell of gas, and no neighbors yelling at me to turn that wretched ozone killing thing off. All in all, a great day!!

well i still have to do the interior, thats happening the week after St Patty's. and THEN she might be able to play. besides isn't it more fun this way, she's like the great white stag, the one that no one ever sees?...

that thing was running so rich at the gocarts gathering that I was running rich just from driving behind you. glad to hear it's cured.
