|
|
We lost our tow vehicle so we can't be at the dyno, yep we are bummed but on a good note we got the new Ram Air hood from G&T Fiberglass for our Camaro last night.
This was the 2nd hood,(unfinished hood saved $$) It was to be here 12/18/06 but was lost, then found, then damaged, sent it back, filed claim with ups, then had another hood sent to me again.
Man what a screwed up mess,
Let me say that UPS FREIGHT SUCKS, one more time
UPS FREIGHT SUCKS !!!!
G&T were just ok, but man this thing is way late.
Now to sand and cut and finish....
I need some advice on sanding, sealing, and painting, just going to do quick black for now until it warms so we can put a really good coat of paint on.
What do I use? And how do I do it??
Iam not a painter, but could be...LOL..
Thanks

What about driving it? It doesn't sound like it's undrivable.
Get it on the freeway and watch the blms on 2-3 miles of road. Tune that section and the rest will take care of itself when you get here.
It's not that far. Hell Rod's driving up from K-Falls and last summer a bunch of us drove up to Canadia, then 300+miles up there, then back!
You can do it! |

| Yeah, I bet the car would make it, without missing a step. You could also plan with some of the other seattle folks, so you had other people to drive with. |

Yeah, you won't have any problems. This is the first long trip for mine and I know I'm a little nervous. Plus like Paul said, bring some tools. I'll prolly throw in every tool I have just in case. |

Besides, if you get more than halfway down here, and have problems. We will go on a "rescue mission", I am sure if we had to, a couple of us could drive an hour north, to get you running again.

I talked with him last night for some time about this.
He is adamant that he will not drive his car that far right now.
But I do appreciate the above responses......
It will have to happen another time.
Crap, I should have fixed the front end on my suburban.
To late now.
You all have a great time there, Drink one for me....
Sorry
