I need the stock .bin file for my ecm (HNL5360). It doesn't seem to be available anywhere on the net. I found a stock .bin for an auto trans car (HNK5630.bin), but not for a 5spd. Any help is appreciated! _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

| Oh well, since I'm not gonna get what I need off the net, I went ahead and ordered the Moates Burn1 chip programmer. |

| Burn 1 is 0175-183765-239652523-752385365386219 times better than the pocket programmer. |

If the bin isn't at ftp.diy-efi.org, then it probably isn't on the Net. The BURN1 will do exactly what you need. If this is for a P4 ECM, you'll probably also want the HDR1 so that you can read the chip directly from the memcal. If it's a C3, you can pretty easily pull the chip from the carrier in the ECM.
Have fun! |

Yeah, its a C3. The two "other" LB8 .bins are on ftp.diy-efi.org but they are both for automatic transmissions. I need the 5spd one, so I'll just grab it myself with the Burn1!
I checked into the Pocket Programmer, but the Burn1 just seemed simpler and alot of guys who know their sh!t on TGO (like Grumpy) had great things to say about the Burn1. |
