Yesterday i bought an 86 4Runner. It has the 22R w/ a 5 speed. I had my parents pick it up for me, so i havn't physicaly seen it yet. From what they told me, i guess its in good shape. I'm going home tis weekend to pick it up. I'm also going to spend some time with the camaro. Maybe take it to the track.
Heres a picture of the 4Runner

NICE!!!! 1986 is the 1st year for the fuel injected V6 and the last year for a solid front axle. you have a quality rig there. those SFA fourrunners area great starting point for a 4wheeldrive project truck.
nice.
EDIT* well, ok, the cool 86 4runners have SFA. my brother has one.

Mine has the fuel injected 4 cylinder and it doesn't have the solid front axle. _________________ 85 Z28, 383 Stroker, TH350 tranny, Richmond 4.10 gears, dual exhaust

LMAO! You going for the 3d strike now Tony?? Nice truck. My brother had a 91, thing would practically go anywhere. As gutless as the 3.0 v/6 is, I think you're better off with the 22R. |

Coincidentally I also just got a Toyota. Needed a nice driver for 101 South, from the car lot to school: Got a 1995 Toyota Tacoma 4WD 22RE 5 Speed Extended Cab: 120,000 Miles. Already been modding for a little driving pleasure: cat less, CAI, KC 120W Day Lighters, just the fun stuff.
For now though...camaro less.
