An '88 L98 Z28 out of Van Nuys. Check digit is good.
What's the story on the car? Going to build up another one, or is this for parts? |

Thanks. VIN doesnt really offer much info I see.
The story is... Came across it two weeks back for $400 and just couldn't see passing it up. Red w/T-tops, decent black int, body is almost as straight as the blue one, the eng compt is completely stock. Downfall is, it has a bad bearing with 130,000 miles. When I trailered it home, the wife laid claim to it. So it's going to be my winter project, a complete stock rebuild, no performance goodies for this one. Well for now anyway.... _________________ 1990 IROC-Z, 383 HSR, 3.70 9-Bolt

atleast put headers and catback on it. don't let that L98 stay corked.
but yeah, the wife will be happy with a stock L98. they have some decent power. mid 14s bone stock is not too shabby. |

Not at all, that is as fast as a 500hp 383 does it, in a GTA. |

Damn, dewey you don't pull any punches do you? LOL!
I'm sure that Red GTA you're referring to will pull 11's once he gets some sticky rubber on there. _________________ 1990 IROC-Z, 383 HSR, 3.70 9-Bolt

From the guy who lost 100hp because he dropped his bottle on the ground and broke it.
This is John with out his little magic bottle in his car.
