I need to find the ECM harness connector to fit on the digital egr for the 3.1 V6. My egr problems still persist and have been ever since I replaced the connector with a new one fro GM. Problem with the new one is that all the wires are white and I think I may have crossed 2 of them (even though I checked one by one with an ohm meter as I connected them). No way of knowing now as I no longer have the old connector. I need one with rhe coloered wires so I know which one goes where. There are none that I could find at the boneyards in Bremerton or Poulsbo, still need to check by the Bremerton Airport. If anyone has one or finds one let me know.
This is the connector I need - on top of the 3 solenoids...

There are a couple thirdgens at pull-a-part in tacoma and quite a few more at meridian auto in graham. I think I've got monday off and might at least be hitting up pull-a-part I can look there. Do you know what years they came on? _________________

Yeah. it was 1990+ that they used the digital EGR on the 3.1, and not anything else.
Ian, how's the selection at Meridian? I've never been out there looking for 3rd gens, but I've called them and they never have anything in stock. |

Ian, if you find one, even in bad shape, I can still use it as an example to rewire the connector I have - I only need to know which color wire goes to which pin. _________________ 92 Camaro

Selection is really hit or miss. Everytime I've gone out there I come home with something I needed but usually not what I was originally going for.
Most often I just find something cool that I want to tinker with or try to integrate into my car. I need to go out and look for some more 4thgen stuff though..
Al, pull-a-part doesn't have any thirdgen newer than around 85 but if I hit meridian on monday I'll look for ya. |

I was just out at Garroway's the other day, I don't think they have any 3.1
s. Lots of 2.8's though.
Danked, you got any pics of that? |

This is the piece I need - the four wire connector
...and if you pop the cap off, you can see which pins the wires connect to (notice mine are all white), I need to know which color goes to which pin.
So really all I need is a picture like my second to show which color wire goes to which pin. |

Is that the only wire you have attached to the connector? I was hoping to see where the other 3 go to as well.
Thanks, diagram would be fine. |
