That is about all john can do because he dows not have any numbers to prove that he can beat me. John is also keeping his latest mod a secret so he can suprise and beat me. I dont think that even that will help his bad luck. |

Ever think that maybe there is no "latest mod" and you are just being paranoid? |

BTW bart, Dewey has track numbers to rival 305 TPI with YOUR cam and heads. Before Headers and more tuning even. |

No matter what happens there is going to be some conspiracy.. 3rd spark plug on the grassy knoll, strange 'signs' in the burnout box, or the lockness monster in the gas.
Either way, its gonna be interesting.

That's for damn sure.
Anyone know how much it's going to cost to run that night? I looked around the PIR site for a bit and didn't find anything.
I did see this cool video of a lap on PIR through the windshield of an American LeMans car. You will need RealPlayer to see it |

Just an FYI: The Silicon Forest Corvette Club is having there dyno at McGee's on the 13th of march that way you guys can see what your putting down before the "Big Race" and come watch the Vette's dyno. I will find out what time they are planning on doing this too. |
is it the same $50 deal?
-Schultzy |
Yes, it is the same $50 deal See ya there! |
Update on the Dyno:
For those of you who are interested in attending the dyno day (either
as a
participant or spectator), it has been moved from March 13th to
Saturday
March 20th.
This will be a combined event, with the Viper Club of America bringing
about
10 cars, and room for another 6 or so. The Viper club are a really nice
bunch of guys, so it should be fun.
We will start at 9:00 am, and take break for lunch around noon.
The cost is $75.00 per car to make 3 runs at one time, or if we get 15
or
more cars total signed up and paid by 10:00 (which we should), then the
cost
will be $65.00.
This is who I had that stated the would attend:
Ian- Oldsmobile (SFCC)
Glen S- 63, 99 or truck (he is soooooo confused!)(SFCC)
Robert Judd- 2001 C5 (SFCC)
Jeremy B- 99 C5 (maybe)(SFCC)
Rick Giles- (Mt Hood Vette club)(maybe)
Charles - (Mt Hood Vette club) (maybe)
I will need to know for sure whether or not those in the maybe column
will
attend prior to the event, so we can get others in if they would like
to
attend.
I will supply a couple of tables to put food, coolers, etc on.
Oh, and the Dynojet will have a new computer and the latest software
update,
so the screen shots should look better
Feel free to email me at mcgees68@hotmail.com or call 503-635-8252 if
you
have any questions, or if there is anything I forgot.
Steve Heino
McGee's Auto Service.
I think it will be awesome seeing the Vipers |

Kelly, it's $20 for unlimited runs (You get as many as they can get through the staging lanes)
Assuming Bart and John pass tech. |

I just need a battery tie-down but with the way john is talking like he will need a rollbar that he cant afford and will not be able to run that night because he went to the test and tune sesions and ran to fast.
I know that he wont really run that fast but with the way he is talking in person you would thin he is. |

Twilightoptics wrote: | Assuming Bart and John pass tech. | I think I have everything I need, since the car already has a battery tie-down in place, and I am certain I won't run fast enough to require a helmet. Anything I am forgetting? |

A coolant overflow tank and battery hold down and usually all that is required, so, you should be fine.

When Rodney came up for the last outing... I think I made 8 runs that night and there was still room for a few more. |

Wow, that's way more than I thought. That's even better. Now if the old beast can make it through that many runs is a different story. |
