Hey folks,

Just wondering if anybody here has any friends/family/acquantances/"people" down in the Port Hueneme, Point Mugu, Santa Barbara, or Edwards AFB areas in Cali?

OR, for a change of pace, any in the Las Vegas area?

Reason I'm asking, I need to get employed as an engineer pretty soon, even as an Associate, or I may start being "unemployable" AS an engineer.

I'm looking for electrical engineering positions. Especially in the Electronic Warfare engineering area.

If anybody has any ideas, I'd appreciate it! I'm on just about every Job Search site imaginable, but everybody knows that only about 20% of the available jobs are actually posted online or otherwise!

Paul, I grew up in Santa Maria. 70 miles from Santa Barbara and 20 miles from Vandenberg AFB (West Coast space/missle command). I've got a few friends left in the area that I can still call who may or may not be able to help you.

One of them is the lead man at a place in SB called Spacek Labs, I'm not exactly sure what it is they do other than hi-tech stuff but his title is "millimeter-wave test engineer". From what I understand he build super high freq transmitters and recievers for the gov't and such.

I have other family and friends down there that I may be able to check with. I just need better details on what your looking for.
