If you do decide to sell it, let me know how much you want for it. I could use a donor car. Wink

Eeek... Parting out Jason's car would be a travesty. It may need a little work, but it is still one nice looking GTA.

Thanks for the kind words Eric. Smile

EDIT: Oops, my bad. I forgot we had a For Sale forum. Check there for info and the asking price. Smile

how much should you be getting? thats what i get.

I get 23-24 MPG highway and 17-19 street, and thats pretty common for a no-mod or lightly modded TPI 3rd gen.

10 MPG (as you two are reporting) tells me something is seriously wrong...

well crap Bashy Bashy
what could be my problem?

if you have a stock cam, than it could be a couple things (fuel filter, leaking injector, bad fuel pump, bad FPR, etc), most of which would be obvious in that the car wouldn't be running right.

if you have an aftermarket cam, then its probably that.

i would take mangus up on his offer, hook the scanner up to it, and see what is going on. my guess is somewhere there is a sensor out of whack.

For instance, if the ecm coolant temp sensor goes... it will read much colder than it is, or not read at all, and the computer will put in more fuel thinking its cold, or for saftey cause it doesn't have a reading.

I get 17.8mpg Freeway with no Overdrive.

Good luck selling it.
