Sometimes Fleury's on Hwy. 99 has 1 or 2 hanging around.
Jerry is great to deal with (actually, all the guys down there are nice) and will give you a good deal if he can. I also deal with Best Auto Parts a little further south too, they are willing to work with you to ensure your satisfaction.
Jerry absolutely shuns Pick-A-Part though, they buy whatever nobody else wants because it's crap. So be careful if you try that route. Jerry got burned 3 times in a row from engines and tranny's, so he doesn't deal with them anymore! Understandably so! After numerous deals with him, I really trust his judgement and advice.
Also, you might try Ed's Transmission in Everett or Marysville. A guy named Mike at the M'ville shop rebuilt mine, and made even a bad output shaft work, at least for a while! Very highly recommended!

Also, if you can at least find good case and internals, I've got an extra tailhousing, top plate with forks, and shifters to assemble your own!
It's not too hard!

yeah, mine only has third fourth and od and rev first and second are gone.
it's realy hard to shift like the fork is binding or bent. it did this only a few miles from home. so i had to take off in third to limp it back home.
i guess after my broken foot heals i will find a tranny and get it back on the road. and yeah i know flurys been there many times. thanks for the info tho. _________________ 86 iroc carb 305 stock, dead t-5, new paint, t tops, flowmaster cat back,

if you are still looking for a t-5, I have a nwc that i'm going to be getting rid of real cheap, it shifts alright, but might need some new syncros, can't tell if it's that or the hydralics. but I fully intend on taking a look in it when I take it out in a few days, i'm going to get a wc if I can find one. lemme know if you are interested. _________________ 95 vw jetta gl
