ok. here is the full on time slip for my best overall run. i had a 14.2x but it had a crappy reaction time. i am more proude of this run despite being two tenths slower.

my opponent was a supercharged pontiac GTP with headers and one hell of an intake. he pulled a headlight to allow more air in Shocked

Yep, sometimes your opponent's bark is much worse than their bite. Laughing

Going to the drag strip gives you a lot of experience to help judge how fast cars are by the way they sound and other physical ques. I remember the first time I went how shocked I was at how slow a majority of muscle cars are down the 1/4. 15s was the norm. And then there are the cars that just blow you away.... by a lot.... Shocked

Hey, it's bound to happen some time, right?

A lot of people would say, "I hope you can beat me since you have a V8." I look at it a different way and ask them, I hope you can beat me since you sunk $8K in to that V6 and fancy body work. Very Happy

BTW i was looking at the rest of my slips.. that 14.2 i was talking about never happened.. that was an opponent in a race where i got a 14.8 Shocked

well, you know.. the crew has to stick together right. that means that anyone who regestered inbetween us must have allready had a number. and you got a full run in before i got there.
