Sounds like your car ran good Tony. What were the mph and e.t.'s on your runs?
How did everyone else do?
Sorry to hear that you had trouble Paully. We can rebuild it... better, stronger, faster Hang in there bud.
Any pics from the cruise?

Some pics I took from the grandstand, some are a little blurry due to distance and hand shaking due to cold weather
The last just before Paul broke something in the rear end. |

ok. here is the full on time slip for my best overall run. i had a 14.2x but it had a crappy reaction time. i am more proude of this run despite being two tenths slower.
R/T .195
60' 2.188
330 6.014
1/8 9.210 @ 76.45
1000 11.989
1/4 14.343 @95.65
my opponent was a supercharged pontiac GTP with headers and one hell of an intake. he pulled a headlight to allow more air in . he ran 14.853 @91.58. i won by .4988 |

Yep, sometimes your opponent's bark is much worse than their bite. Going to the drag strip gives you a lot of experience to help judge how fast cars are by the way they sound and other physical ques. I remember the first time I went how shocked I was at how slow a majority of muscle cars are down the 1/4. 15s was the norm. And then there are the cars that just blow you away.... by a lot.... Hey, it's bound to happen some time, right?
A lot of people would say, "I hope you can beat me since you have a V8." I look at it a different way and ask them, I hope you can beat me since you sunk $8K in to that V6 and fancy body work. |

Hey! Everyone post your numbers! Inquiring minds want to know. And, if anyone feels like it, post your mods, too. I don't know what everyone's running.
I'd hope to get in the 14's myself. I'm pretty sure I would, if barely. _________________

Yeah, but I bet it clicks off that first 1/4 mile in about 10 seconds. |
