I went out and got myself a birthday present.
and inside the box...
Thats right boys and girls, a 1996 Camaro T56 Was starting to feel a little left out on all the manual transmission action. Came with all the goodies: basicly new clutch, machined flywheel(after it was removed), shifter, clutch hydraulics, bolts etc... I'll post some pics of the swap when I get around to putting it in.

Sweet! There are quite a few t56 swaps poping up now. My dad just picked one up for his '70 chevelle last week out in spokane.
I've got a list of part numbers on the connectors (VSS, reverse lockout, reverse lights) if you need it.
Actually I've got a conversion xmember if you don't already have that. |

Not quite, I turned 21 yesterday. Sucked though, I've been sick since last thursday so I didn't even leave the house. |

hehe I was asking if April 29th was your birthday and it sounds like it is. We are in Vegas celebrating my wife's birthday which is also the 29th (oddly enough she is 29 )
Get feeling better!

Mike!
That's her "Golden Birthday" then!! You have to really go all out for this one!
Mine was the 4th, so the GB was at 4 yrs old, so not a lot of partying, unfortunately!
But 29 is a cool one! HUGE present!! I LOVE Vegas!!
Later!
Paully

I think there about $170. Its a worth while investment if you really like to hammer on the gears. I was a little scared about the alum. 3rd/4th shift fork breaking so it's cheap protection in my mind. Once I get the tranny in I'll tell you how it feels.
