Where's a good place for price to match my stock valve covers. I need new gaskets as one is leaking. I'm not concerned with replacing the whole covers, just the gaskets.

Thanks.

Just go to schmucks, napa, or whatever. Valve cover gaskets are dirt cheap.

Cool. Never bought a set so didn't know how readily available they are. Thanks.

Buy rubber ones. You'll be able to reuse them. They are around $20

Ditto to that. NEVER buy the cork kind. They crap out on you like that.

Actually that's not true. I've had my tall valve covers for almost two years now and replaced the cork gasket once. Mind you, I've had the valve covers off close to 100 times for adjustments, and fitment things.

All you have to do is gaskecinch the cork to the valve cover, and then line the other side of the cork with vaseline. Seals great, and comes right off. I have to use cork with the tall valve covers, because the rubber isn't thick enough. Napa Metal center cork on each side gaskets.

The metal center ones might not be bad. The ones I've had problems with in the past seemed to be all cork.
