I'm new to this forum, as well as the camaro world. I bought mine last summer and am looking to do some resto work on it this summer. After school gets out. UW is sucking my bank account dry. However I am definately not new to the machanic world. I recently restored a 1968 triumph and am looking to sell it so i have room for my camaro project. I set up a cardomain site so i could post pictures and stuff. Let me know what you think and if anyone feals like helping me get some work done this summer in the Everett area let me know, because I have a ton to do. Wink
thanks all, JAKE

Welcome, welcome!

I kind of like those older triumphs. Fun little toss around cars.

What are the plans for the maro?

Welcome aboard, nice Camaro Smile

I'm no mechanic, but if I'm free when the time comes, I'd be happy to help turn wrenches. I just had help from a couple members with a motor swap last month (my first ever swap). Lots of members here with lots of helpful info.

WOW! thanks for the welcome guys! I am studying business at UW right now, sophomore 20 yrs old, that also means I can't afford to drive my car around during the school year because parking on campus is rediculously expensive. Therefore I get to sit around on computers all day dreaming and looking at other peoples 3rd gens. "sigh"
My hopes for the summer is to repaint my camaro as well as to change the body styling over to the 1991-92 effects, they just seem so much more bad@$$. If anyone has a line on the body panels I will need please let me know, although remember I am a broke colege student so I can't afford too much. Sad I am thinking I want to paint it black with 2 white rally stripes, I have only seen 1 third gen like it and I have fallen in love. although I am still open to other suggestions. I don't think my camaro was a former crew members car though, I bought it off a guy in Monroe named Terry. It is definately a project car!! It used to be a fuel injected 305HO but now it has a freshly rebuilt geardrive and carburated 350. wich means there is a lot of extra computer components sucking voltage, and wiring is the worst I've ever seen! That is another project for summer, I get to rewire the engine and get it tuned to perfection. So if there is anyone out there that has an expertice in wiring these beasts, let me know Wink Here is link to my triumph if anyone is interested as well "http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2214481" I'll keep an eye out for that yellow F-Bird

in our "for sale" section there are a few guys parting out camaros. i believe one or two are selling GFX. keep in mind however that you will need to drill/cut aprox. 25 holes in your car to mount them. it is no easy task. that being said i would deffinatly be game to come up with my sawzall and help ya somtime. Very Happy
