Ok,
For 2 years i have heard about the dyno, both years i had pretty serious mechanical issues. year 1 i had a completely clogged cat, year two, i was running 7cyls, with a BIG vaccume leak.
well, when the car runs good, it runs strong, i already have the timeslip to show that.
Bart, i'm calling you out. we can settle this the easy way, 1/4 mile, straight line.
here is PIR's schedual, pick a day that works for you.
Also, i suggest we make this interesting.... what do you say $20 ?? $50 ?? $100, whatever you feel your pride is worth, i'm willing to back it up.

If you run a 15.5 shouldn't an L69 / 5 spd car run at least half a second faster than that. Man, I want to make it when you guys settle this. |

I'm glad it's this far out, so I can request a day off when you guys race. I think I'm going to run mine one time before I move onto my next F-body, just for fun and to see what a stock LH0/A4 combo can do after 14 years of use. Maybe if someone's wheel falls off I might even win a race. |

Agreed john has the inferior engine combination and I don’t want to hear any more winning about it.
So how about id Dewey April 9th $20 is that a good day for your defeat.
So start making plans people get in your cars make your plans and take off for Portland. _________________

Ohhhhh man!
I hope I can make this.... so, what are the ground rules here?
Are the local speed shops going to see alot of business from you guys, and is this going to be best out of one run, or 5 runs, or what?

I know I got real tired of seeing your tail lights Paul. I think I was like 0-4 against you.
Of course that was before I found my PVC was jammed up with EGR debris which could have been caused by my improperly gapped spark plugs that were having a hard time firing with my old sparkplug wires that were messed up because my analog TBI unit exploded and wiped out my valve cover gaskets which led to a cracked piston ring and eventualy grenaded my 10 bolt rear end.
But hey, I got no excuses. |

Well If the Lama losses it will be the final nail in the coffin, then he will have to sell his cars and get a truck . On the other hand if the big man falls it will end the endless steams of chest puffing talk he is full of. So either way I want to see this go down.
I got my money on the Rs powered Lama |

Ya, I gotta go with the Dewey's RS too. As long as it's running right, methinks it's all over for Bart, lol. It would be pretty damn funny if Bart wins though.
Something like 3 outta 3 or best of 3 runs sounds like a fair plan, it will take the pressure off so they don't try to do it all in one run. If they do one run only, I'd put money on one or both of them blowing something up, and that would be sad. |
