Well I haven't driven my car in about 7 weeks and I took it out and played today. This car is a freaking blast. I guess you have to step away sometimes to appreciate them.
A few freeway blasts, a little sideways... wish it wasn't so wet out.
Nothing more. That is all.

I got a ticket for speeding last night.
Not a ticket in three years and then two in a month.
The cop actually told me I should sell my car because as soon as he got on the horn about me and my car, two other locals chimed in saying they knew who I was and said to not give me any slack.
I've made the blacklist. Sweet. |

Ack!
Sorry to hear about the ticket. Time to become an MRA.
You didn't seem to have any arguments about them knowing who you are Ian. Care to share any insights into why they might be aware of your presence?

I took my car to my parents house 2 months ago so I could have more space for winter projects. I saw it today under a pile of snow.
At least I got to build a kick ass lawn tractor this winter. |

I was TRYING to do some data logging the end of last month and came up a roundabout interesection (man I hate those things). Half way around the thing I knocked the switcher on the ecm and the car went into limp home mode, I started giving more gas because I didn't know why it was running like shizzle and it flipped back into the previous programs, bucked and shuddered and smoothed out. Although I was already at 3/4 throttle just trying to keep it moving and the ass end just went WAAAAY out immediately back in place. There was a cop directly in front of me. I didn't even wait for him to hit the christmas lights, I just pulled over. Didn't help I forgot my new insurance card.
~$1075 ticket; no insurance and neg driving 2
Yipes.
I need to get my blazer going and delgate this to weekend duty.
But I hear ya on stepping away to make you enjoy it better. I had been running around on 2 burnt plugwires and a failing o2 sensor for a few weeks and finally got those changed out right before doing this datalogging and it felt a million times better. Still slow but better! |

I think I'm going to get a different one in a few months when I renew my reg that just says "6 SPEED" I don't think I can fit "PLEASE DON'T PULL ME OVER OCCIFER!" on a standard plate. Maybe one of those euro ones but... |
